Adolf Hitler birth home to be museum, dubbed ‘House of Responsibility’
By Cheryl K. Chumley – The Washington Times – Wednesday, September 10, 2014
The home where Adolf Hitler was born could be turned into a museum, dubbed the “House of Responsibility,” Austrian officials say.
The home in Braunau am Inn, a town in Austria, has already served as a “bank, workshop, library, school and home for the disabled,” the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.
Right now, it’s empty and the Austrian Interior Ministry rents it, The Washington Post reported.
Historian Andreas Maislinger came up with the idea, so people could conduct research on crimes against humanity and on World War II, The Post said.
